Dennis “Dink” Ferrell Hilton, 72, of Conover passed away Monday, January 7, 2019 at Carolina Caring in Newton. Born September 2, 1946 in Catawba County, he was the son of the late Fred and Ethel Lail Hilton. Dennis loved cats and dogs. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Carter and a brother, Bobby Hilton.
He is survived by:
Wife of 46 years: Charlotte Ann Eckard Hilton of the home
Sister: Judy Hester of Clemmons
A Number of Nieces and Nephews
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Burke Mortuary Chapel in Newton with Pastor George Hilton officiating.
Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Hickory.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 1:00-1:45 p.m. at the funeral home, prior to the service.
